To apply for a rental property, please visit our available listings, select a property, and click apply.
The application process will require you to create an account and upload the necessary documentation including a valid ID and proof of income.

Browse through our available properties and find the one you are interested in renting. Click on the property listing to view more details. The apply now button is on the listing page’s right side.
Does BANDI charge an application fee?
No, BANDI does not charge an application fee. We do charge our cost to run a full background check and credit report on each Applicant. The cost to run the background check and credit report is $35.00.
How old do you have to be to apply?
You must be at least 18 years old to apply to rent a BANDI home. In addition, anyone planning to live in the home age 18 or over is required to submit an application.
Do I have to apply to see a property?
No, you may view the property before applying, but we process applications in the order they are received. To increase your chances of securing the property you want, we recommend submitting your application first.

Does BANDI accept Section 8 and Housing Vouchers?
Yes, we do accept Section 8 and Housing Vouchers.
What documentation is required to process an application?
A valid government-issued photo identification & proof of income are mandatory. Proof of income can be submitted using paystubs, bank statements, tax returns, proof of disability, SSI, Student housing, alimony, and Section 8 vouchers where accepted. The total monthly income on an application needs to be 3 times the total monthly rent.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed at select properties, though an additional recurring fee may apply: $50 for small pets, $100 for medium-sized pets, and $150 for large pets. This information is typically included in our listings. Furthermore, we will review requests for service and emotional support animals with the required documentation.
What is the minimum credit score required to be approved?
The minimum credit score is 680. However, we have a third-party vendor that will allow us to work with you even though your credit is lower than 680. A complete analysis of the credit report will be done to determine if further consideration is applicable. We encourage everyone to review our screening criteria prior to submitting an application.
How much is the security deposit for new residents?
Security deposits vary by State. In New Jersey, the security deposit is equal to the amount of one and half months’ rent.
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
Before moving into the property, you must pay the security deposit (equivalent to one and a half months’ rent) along with the first month’s rent. The security deposit cannot be applied toward any future rent, current rent, or outstanding rent arrears.
What is TheGuarantors and how is it helpful to my application?
TheGuarantors is a third-party insurance provider that assists applicants who do not meet our minimum credit requirement of 680. They offer financial solutions, such as lease guarantees, to help applicants secure a rental by providing additional assurance to landlords. If you do not meet the credit threshold, you may have the option to work with TheGuarantors to strengthen your application.
What if I had an eviction on my record?
We conduct a thorough review to understand the circumstances and present the information to the property owner, who makes the final decision. Each application is evaluated fairly and considered on a case-by-case basis.
Are utilities included in the monthly rent?
No, tenants are responsible for all utility costs.
